Can I migrate from another panel to Xtream-Masters ActiveCode OTT Panel?
Yes. Our automated migration moves your users, lines, bouquets, streams, movies, series, categories, resellers and settings from XtremeUI, XUI / XUI One, NXT, Streamcreed and other panels. There are two ways to migrate — a fresh server (recommended) or your existing OS.
Method 1: Migrate to a new server (recommended)
You'll need: a fresh Ubuntu 24.04 server, a database backup from your current panel, SSH access, and your Master CMS Panel (xm:) login.
- Add the new server. In the Master CMS Panel, delete the old main-server entry, then add the new server with its SSH credentials. Installation finishes in under 5 minutes.
- Migrate the database — choose one option:
- Remote connection: click "Migrate Database", enter your old database host, port, name, user and password, select your previous panel type, then click Migrate.
- Backup file (recommended): export from your old panel, place the file at /root/backup.sql (.sql.gz also works), then in "Migrate Database" pick your panel type and the backup-file method and click Migrate.
mysqldump -u USER -p DB_NAME > backup.sql
- Reset the admin password. After the success message, go to MasterAdmin → "Reset Admin Password" (optionally set a custom panel port), then log in.
- Bring servers online. Edit the main server → set its SSH password → Main Server Option → Restart Service. For each load balancer → set SSH password → LB Server Option → Re-install Balancer.
Method 2: Install on your existing OS (no reinstall)
Important: a fresh OS install is safer and recommended. Only use this method with complete, verified database backups.
- Back up MySQL. Create full database backups, download them locally, and verify them before continuing.
- Remove the existing MySQL so the panel can install its own clean database:

- Restore your data. Upload backup.sql.gz to /home/xtreamaster/backups/, log in with admin / admin, then open Backup → Restore Backup.
After migrating: confirm your content displays correctly, then test user login, streaming and VOD playback. After a XUI migration, episode order can be corrected with:
